👍The Good:
✅Flavorful: Each dish packed a punch of flavor. You can definitely taste the freshness of the ingredients and the skillful use of spices. ✅Generous Portions: The serving sizes were quite generous, making it a good value for money. ✅Reasonable Price: At RM 52 for three people, the dinner was quite affordable, especially considering the seafood options.
The Not-So-Good:
Overly Salty: Unfortunately, all the dishes we ordered were too salty for our liking. As someone who tries to eat clean, I found the saltiness overpowering and it masked some of the other flavors.
Overall:
Hwong Lee Heng has the potential to be a great spot for a casual seafood dinner. The dishes are flavorful and the prices are reasonable. However, the excessive saltiness needs to be addressed. If they can adjust the seasoning, this place would definitely be a winner in my book.
