Kedai Razak Patin Tempoyak — Restaurant in Sepang

Based on the name of the premise, .patin tempoyak is expected to be its signature dish and specialty. However, based on my taste pallette (being a native temerloh guy) , the patin tempoyak here is a "good try" . it fall short from the taste of authenthic patin tempoyak Pahang style. Maybe its the tempoyak used or maybe the fish.... This probaly probably will do when there's no worthy competition for patin tempoyak within 50 km radius.

Patin gulai tempoyak is da bomb!!!! Simply marvelous!! Patin fish(fresh water catfish from pahang river brought in swimming in tanks on a daily basis) major parts - head, tail, middle body, cut into 4 pcs is the SOP here, middle body have fish belly part that melts in the mouth or full patin meat part(the neutral choice, for newbies), the condiments are sambal blachan and ulam of your choice, to add the kick, take gulai lemak udang galah(fresh water prawn), 2 pcs of it, drinks, fruit juice or whatever you wanna order - price is rm10 per piece, same price available 365...

Its hard to find a good patin tempoyak outlet even though many restaurant claim to have it as part of its menu. Here is good option to try patin tempoyak, dont need to go to Temerloh. The fish is quiet fresh but the portion is to small for me. The tempoyak soup is very nice, not too thick but full of flavor. Other dish such as grilled fish, curry and selection of vege also worth it...
