Went as a school tour, greeted warmly by my male tour guide named Mr Chen. He’s really humble and friendly. The information shared was great and I was just glued to everything he had to say. He never fail to accommodate to our questions and request. Kudos to Mr Chen. Other two tour guides are a bit more crude in dealing with noisy and active kids. Wondering whether they train and retrain staff based on the needs. The tour guide was with us throughout the 2.5-3 hours tour. Tractor ride was included in the fees, no need to pay extra. They bring us ard the acre farm. Very scenic indeed.
The not so pleasant experience:
The entrance fees was higher than the one shown at the ticketing booth making the students wonder why are they charged at a higher when the ticket for adults on a weekday was just RM10. It’s not the first we bring students for field trip, not only They did not give us any group discount, but it’s definitely an eye opening experience to be charged higher than the normal pricing when we go as a school. Mind You, tour guide are charged separately so why do you charge the school higher than the normal price? I only found the answer when I leave the place, it is the GOODIE BAG they gave us. We’re charged extra for something we did not consent to “buying”. The 200ml milk has shorter shelf life compared to the ones at the fresh pick store.
The food we catered from the cafe was horrible. We got a shock so many packets of our buttered rice with grilled chicken (2 small pcs of chicken wing) contain partly raw rice and chicken. The chicken were cooked on one side but definitely raw on the other. This is unacceptable to serve to even adults, what more young children??…. They took more than 1.5 hours to prepare the same dish to compensate the affected children. There’s no time to eat the food since it’s only ready after 1.5 hours. The kids were forced to buy the Jomcha there to fill the stomach since their lunch was not edible. Jomcha didn’t fail us. We’re really happy with the Boba as well as purchasing frm the fresh pick store.
The milk carton sold here is more expensive than the one I got from the store outside of farm fresh. Why is this? I ended up only buying the 1 litre bottled fresh milk.
Milk here is very fresh, if I would to come back, it would be to bring my daughter to experience the tractor and barrel ride and to taste the milk fresh from farm to table. WILL NEVER dine in the cafe anymore due to the...
Read moreRestaurant a bit dissapointed, went there at 12pm only spaghetti on the menu, pizza didn't start yet, food was good but a bit pricey, burger venue need to improve service, ramly burger stall has a bigger cooking plate and serves faster, cooking a bit slow, but other items on the menu are made fast (25 minutes to wait for a burger 😂) and i hope management add more tables and chairs for the restaurant as weekend has a large volume of visitors and put a menu stand so that people that line up can see the menu and decide so they do not waste time deciding at the cashier
Some staff a bit inexperienced but helpful and friendly, waited for kids tractor ride and asked to line up but due to inexperienced staff the backline rode the kids tractor ride first which was a bit frustrating for a parent holding a child, plus no proper line to que up
Safety aspect would like to mention is to cordone off the horse ride area, and to make sure kids don't stand behind the horse, but there are experienced staff that quickly advice parents and kids to not stand behind the horse, i give these staffs 5 star for alertness
The food area needs more cashier's especially on weekends
Other areas of the farm are interesting
If they improve on the service of the restaurant and other food outlets i would give 4 star
Place is outdoors so prepare an umbrella, quite hot, tractor service that goes up the hill was fun and enjoyable, staff are knowledgeable and friendly 5...
Read moreVery very limited food options but more importantly as a farm theme why is there no wholesome farm fresh food menu choices available?
Also extremely limited drink choices.
The husbandry of the cows 'ladies' is very poor. If its designed to put off meat eaters then take a visit. A little insight into factory farming; depressing to say the least. Animal health seem less than ideal both physically and emotionally for the cows... And I have worked on farms in the past.
Otherwise the introduction of a city type farm open to the public is to be applauded. There is much much scope for significant improvement with the introduction of more farm animals, displays, interaction entertainment and public education, along with much improved facilties.
There are a few places in Thailand that does this sort of thing very well and I hope whoever is responsible for this place tries to follow in their footsteps.
It would be interesting to see this place in another five years or so. Tremendous opportunity to make this a great place. Hope they do not screw it up and they only improve their standards.
For now the grounds make it a pleasant place to visit. Very good car parking.
A few Instagrammable locations (could be much expanded).
Entrance fee is OK....
