Gulai Salai De Hilir — Restaurant in Shah Alam

Finally I got the chance to dine at this place as I passed by the place few times and one attemp was close..I didn't realise it closed on Friday. Well..the environment was nice and the service was prompt. As for the food I decided to have the infamous Gulai Itik Salai..which I've tasted at a few places and I think here was not up to fhe standard I was hoping to get. They have also ayam salai daging salai and some other dishes as well. It was not so spicy as my 10 years old son can managed😁. A bit disapointing as the itik it self was a bit stiff. Overall it was okay. All meals comes in set and pricing are reasonable. For me their itik salai was okay but definitely not the best one...

Although not as good as the pure Negri Sembilan gulai lemak dishes, I am happy with the taste of the dishes here. Itik, daging, ayam, keli salai all are tasty. For telur itik set, they give 2 duck eggs. They also have asam pedas set but I prefer the gulai lemak. Price is reasonable. They provide free...

Favorite daging salai in town!! Came here way too many times since 2018 when they were at the previous location. My favourite is daging salai masak lemak cili api & asam pedas daging tetel.

They use to provide telur masin but not anymore. Condiments comes in smaller portions too, hope they can provide...
