The lunch promotion set rice consist of rice, fried chicken, a choice of vegetable (Kubis or bendi) and kuah campur which come to rm9.60. I asked for kuah banjir and added a piece of beef bergedil that cost rm2.50. Too bad no sambal belacan at this place. Overally price is above average. The rice, Vege and bergedil tasted so so only but the fried chicken is the star of all. It is marinated nicely, with flavourful surface and yet still tender inside unlike some other places that fried their chicken breast till too hard to chew. Most people like to eat with their hand here, so you need to take the spoon at the side of the restaurant by yourself. The Teh here is on the sweeter side with a hint of sirap taste to it, not sure is it accidentally mixed or because of the milk they use.

My family came at 3pm, and guess what, the queue was still long hahaha. But there were 2 lines, and we didnt know initially. So all in all, the wait wasn’t that long. The food was limited. There was ayam goreng, ikan goreng, telur ikan, lauk sotong, and lamb i think. I guess the specialty is their “sotong” but unfortunately Im allergic so I couldnt taste it. There weren’t much choice of vegetables too. I ordered tauhu, and it wasnt soft, didnt like it. All in all, taste was good on the average side. I love the telur ikan :D the drawback of this place is their seats. There are alot of seats, but its still isnt enough.

Kuah Kari Campur = 8/10 Cutlery + Tissue Station = 9/10 Service = 9/10 My friends and I had their Nasi Kandar with Ayam Bawang (me) and Sotong Kembang (my friend). Meats are good, even the dada part was juicy 😲 and the Sotong was fresh and juicy (not rubbery in texture at all). Sirap Bandung (not pictured) sweet but thankfully not the “Potong kaki” kind of sweet. One thing I liked about this place is their kuahs. They’re spicy and savoury, just how I like it. The only downside was the price. It was almost RM50 between the 2 of us including drinks. But other than that, the abangs, service and ambiance was nice!

Didn't even get to try their food as we had to leave immediately due to the unfriendliness of the staff.

None of them attended us. We had to stand and wait there while one of the staff smoked cigarettes and another one of them was busy with their phone. Funnily, the one that was smoking saw us standing there but didn't even bother to let us know if we had to wait for the rice or what.

Overall, dissatisfied and disappointed. Can't even say much about their food since we didn't even get to try them. Not to mention, we weren't the only ones waiting to be attended. There was a whole line behind us. restaurant cleanliness was also bad. Dirty tables everywhere. The fact that we came all the way from Damansara for this... Really...

Out of curiosity about the hype over this I paid a visit to try its food. Simple menu ie half kunyit rice, 'acclaimed' sotong kembang, fried bitter gourd n plain warm water. The bill came to 19.95 as the sotong alone cost 16! (goes according to size) Verdict - the kunyit rice was too soft either over cooked (prefer grainy rice), sotong kembang wasn't extraordinary nor tender and the lauk campur was sweet. For the price and taste, I have 2nd thoughts. Think the hype was over done but as the saying goes 'One man's meat is another man' s poison ' So go check it out but check the price of sotong vis-a-vis it's size before deciding. May be it's worth trying it's burung puyu or fried chicken Leave the rest to...
