I would give it a 3/5 because there should be much more improvements in the future.

I am staying in Denai Alam and was happy to know any existence of cafes that are near our area and we stumbled with this one.

Ambience I would say 4/5; just like any other cafes that you can find near Subang Jaya/ Petaling Jaya/ TTDI area. It was pleasant. We went there sometime for tea and it was cloudy so we decided to sit outside. I don't know if the enforcement of not allowing people to smoke at or near any compound of a restaurants/cafes were taken back by the government but boy - Malaysians really are in need of common courtesy of not smoking in an area where people eat.

Take note that if you're seated outside, everything from ordering to payment would be through your phone and if you're seated inside only payment of cash is allowed. Odd isn't it?

A big turn off was the pricing of the food. I just find it expensive especially considering it was a neighborhood cafe. This may vary among people though but I don't think that a RM 9 french fries or RM 12 banana fritters would satisfy me.

So we ended up getting the pizza which was RM 29 (correct me if I am wrong) and it was decent. We had better pizza, the crust feels like it was instantly made, hopefully they made the sauce themselves but the lamb meat was cooked well.

Drinks was okay price wise and taste wise; my mum had latte (was supposed to be their bestseller - nothing special to it) and I had hot coco which suited with the weather that day.

Service was okayish - I thought the whole reason of getting people to choose to seat inside or outside was so that the cafe can reduce the movements of their customers (Covid matter). So when we asked for sugar from one of the waiters, he asked us to get it ourselves inside the cafe which I find a hassle. The cafe could work on the service (we did pay for service charge anyways right? - I did the ordering and payment myself might as well help me get some sugar).

All in all - some people might have a good experience coming here and find it worth their money,...

Have been here a couple of times and food has always been decent along with the ambience. However just this morning when I ordered fish and chips, I bit into something hard and turns out it was plastic in my food much like the tip of a plastic fork. Unfortunately, I had not taken pictures before notifying the waiter of the plastic found in my food. He took my plate to the counter and conferred with the other waiters and baristas on what the piece of plastic was and where it was from.

For further details, the material could not have been anything else but plastic, it was very obvious. The waiter came back with the SAME plate of food (minus the plastic) and said "it's not plastic, its from the packaging of the fish, the tupperware"...which is also made of plastic. So I asked again "so this is plastic?" and he had to ask the other workers what it was or what to say I'm not so sure.

For 15 mins, all they did was stare very obviously at our table and occasionally point at us but no apology followed. Only after that were we given a chocolate muffin as a complimentary piece for the fish and chips. No blame to the waiter tending to us because he did the best he could. But when I raised my hand again to grab their attention due to us not receiving one of our orders yet, the other waiters beckoned to him in a teasing manner much like primary kids teasing their friend about approaching their crush. Unprofessional and showed just how much they care or didn't care about the situation.

Hot chocolate was too thick, omelette was watery, fries had no flavour even with added salt and pepper, fish had well...plastic and it was overall disappointing.

Ambience itself would've been good but we definitely felt unwelcome after I complained and I'm irritated that this situation was not taken seriously enough.

In the end, no apologies were made thus no accountability taken but we left with a free muffin though. 1...

Verdict for restaurant (9/9)

Accessibility (1) : Nearby parking, easy entrance, toilet and hand-basin are easy to access Hygiene (1) : very clean floor, table, seats, basin and toilet Service (1) : fast service, friendly and great hospitality Aesthetic (1) : simple selection of furnishings, good to the eyes, bright, and tidy Practicality (1) : easy to order and pay, both through online or physical Room (1) : quite spacious, not crowded Comfort (1) : good chair, concrete bench came with cushions, table are not triggering any rashes on the skin Location (1) : going here is easy, available on google maps, no traffic issues Ambience (1) : calm, good selection of music, green views outside

Verdict for meal : lamb grill (7/9) with major issue

Accessibility (1) : easy access to tissues, cutlery, salt and pepper Hygiene (1) : food are clean, not an expired food Service (1) : quick serve to the table Aesthetic (1) : good for photo ops, looking presentable Practicality (0) : hard to cut, chewy, difficult to eat Variety (1) : comes with fries and vegetable Taste (0) : moderately spiced, no musky goat taste, a bit of bland taste issue Smell (1) : fresh, no musky goat smell Price (1) : good portion to price ratio

Personal comment : Hope the cook can consider marinate some protease from select fruits such as lemon, orange or pineapple into the lamb to make it softer. The 'chewy' and 'hard to cut' issues could have been avoided. Gravy (I assume it was black pepper gravy) also could be mixed with grilled, caramelised 'bawang holland' to bring up sweeter taste with hint of smoke. Hope the cook can consider experiment with a bit oyster sauce...

This has been our favourite place to dine in for about a year ago till now. We frequented this place either once or twice a month if we crave for a good creamy pasta. What we like the most is the consistent taste of the food. It tastes the same since we started eating here. Only once in a blue moon the food got a bit salty but that was it. The service is quite fast even during peak hour. Love its modern minimalist ambience too. You can opt to sit inside or outside though the outdoor eating space is basically for the smokers. We tried most of its western menu. We didn't try its nasi lemak, meehoon Singapore or anything oriental as we feel we can get it somewhere else that taste as delicious but with a cheaper price tag. However, their pasta selection is awesome especially the creamy, dreamy and flavourful pasta! They are also very generous with the herbs the put inside the pasta. It has perfect creaminess, not too watery nor too thick. Our favourite would be the Creamy Salmon Pasta, Chicken Mushroom Alfredo and Mushroom Pesto. The Classic Beef Bolognese is tasty too. We tried the Belacan Seafood Olio but it just didn't go well with our tastebud. Pasta price ranges from rm18-rm28. Do try their pizza, grilled fish is delish too and not forgetting the mouthwatering mushroom soup we have eaten so far. It doesn't taste anything like the mushroom soup you normally get from a can. Freshly made, creamy (just nice) with generous portion of chopped mushrooms. Superb! They also served good coffee and tea. If you are up for dessert, they have a selection of cakes to choose from (normally we will be too full to eat this afterwards). 😊

So many positive reviews about this place and decided to try it out today. So here you go: The drinks: Delicious but not enough hahahaha. Perhaps we need to have more economic option. The food: So good and very child palate friendly. We ordered the pizza, carbonara, oriental fried rice and mi goreng mamak. I just feel like the portion is very gadis2 if you get what I am saying. But if you are hungry, I would advice you to order at least 2 dish. My 2 year old son can finish the pasta dish on his own (not a kid's meal). The oriental fried rice is very safe and hotel quality, not much taste and very safe. The ambiance: Lovely. Great for gatherings and the overall look is insta worthy. They have baby chair too. What can be improved: During this covid days, you have to order using the QR code provided. This is understandable but I just feel like it is a little leceh. Probably if there is menu displayed at the entrance it would be easier. Service: Very efficient and friendly. So there, I will come again :)
