CAFE NINETY NINE — Restaurant in Terengganu

A roadside cafe with plenty of parking and a spacious layout—not too cramped, which is nice.

I tried the seafood fried rice and chicken grill. The seafood fried rice was tasty, with a decent mix of prawns, squid, and more. The rice itself was flavourful, not just plain, and the portion was quite reasonable.

The chicken grill was also good in terms of taste and came with condiments, but the portion of chicken was small(picture for reference). For the price, it didn’t feel worth it—I’d recommend sticking to the local dishes instead.

Service could use some improvement. The staff placed the food at the far end of the table, and I had to reach over to get it—considering the table was quite large, it would’ve been better if the food was placed closer, as is standard in most cafés or restaurants.

All in all, it’s an okay spot. Worth revisiting for local dishes, but I’d skip the chicken grill...

Nasi goreng padkrapaw daging: -nasi goreng premade tapi cukup rasa dan well seasoned -lauk padkrapaw daging pedas tapi balance dgn nasi goreng yg tak pedas. Lauk pun banyak daging, bawang putih cuma 2 ketul yg lain semua daging

Chicken chop -salutan tepung yg cemerlang. Jenis serbuk roti tapi digoreng dengan sempurna dgn ayam kekal juicy. -sos black pepper biasa je -patut tambah sos cili dan mayo asing utk fries

Must wait 45 minutes for chicken chop dengan tukang masak yang lembap dan main-main. Org lain dh habis makan semua siap org baru dtg pulak dpt masakan panas.
