I rarely will give 1 star, but they made me upset, so there you go, first of, ordering system, its fine to have an ordering system where you write down what you want and pass it to the counter, I am fine with that, what irritates me is when you have a menu with only the name of the item without any explanation on what is that item, the other alternative for that is to get explanation from the waiter, but since its a manual ordering system, waiters would only flock the counter to wait for the order to come out. They do have pictures of some of their item but you have to play the guessing game, as they are not labelled to any of the menu item. Next is the waiting time, first item came out 15 minutes, the last item an hour after ordering, had to check with them 3 times on it, the last item to reach our table is their new menu mushroom soup and also my chicken roulade, when asked why was it so long, ohh chicken roulade mmg lama sikit nak buat, if you know it takes a long time to make it, put a disclaimer there, "it will take an hour to prepare, don't order if you can't wait". Once again the lack of information on the menu really affect a lot of thing. Next taste, this part is only on the chicken roulade as I didn't taste anything else on the menu, when you wait an hour for your order, you expect it to be mind blowing, with a visual that is gret on the eye, what I got was a rolled up fried chicken on a bed of mash potato and chopped up lettecu and 3 halves of cherry tomato with no or minimal dressing (cant taste any if there were any dressing). The chicken was super fried, naturally it was dry and taste of nothing I would wait an hour for or would actually ordered, the mash potato wasn't seasoned, taste of nothing as well. My last and final disappointment, other tables that came much later, went back much earlier then we did, that says a lot about their service there. I would hope that owners of the restaurant would read this amd take it into consideration, as I know you guys are reading the reviews on here, raving about high reviews and posting it on instagram, I would suggest to add more information on the menu, what each menu consist of, time taken to make it, and just remove the chicken roulade, if the other menu item is good, you don't need the...
Read moreFirstly, the most of the food there are really tasty except for a few of them. Most of them have the taste that justifies their slightly higher than average prices. That said, their menu is so large that I haven't even tasted all of them yet that I consider to be interesting to me despite being there for a multiple times already. They are also constantly updating their menu with new foods and drinks too! The spacing between each dining table is medium, not too spacious but not too narrow either. However, the parking space is quite limited as are all places in Kuala Terengganu that doesn't really have dedicated parking space. You'd need to park beside the road. It's also worth noting that the waiting time is not exactly fast but sometimes it is definitely sluggish whenever their restaurant is almost full (Some competitors still manage to get their orders finished quickly even though there's a lot of customers) but hey that's just because they have a...
Read moreTucked by the roadside with limited parking along the road shoulder, this cafe has a classic, slightly vintage vibe that adds characterâthough do expect the occasional noise from passing cars and motorcycles.
I had the double lamb burger and buttered rice with grilled chicken, paired with a fresh orange juice. The lamb burger was a standout: tender, juicy, and flavorful, served with a side of fries. The buttered rice was rich and lived up to its name. Portions were quite generous and satisfying.
Price-wise, it leans a little above average, but the quality and taste justify the cost.
That said, the biggest letdown was the waiting time. Despite arriving at around 3:50 p.m. as the only customer, the food took nearly 30 minutes to be servedâwhich felt unnecessarily long for such a quiet hour. Hence 3 star rating for this cafe
Overall, itâs a 50/50 on whether Iâd return. If the kitchen improves on efficiency, Iâd be more...
