A lowdown on the queueing process for both Dine in and Takeaway at NDAT Kg Atas Tol
Dine in: if you come to dine in, you might notice these few things:
A large tent where all the tables are A smaller tent where you are ment to wait while your partner queues to order A specific queue for dine in ordering
Firstly, if you come in a group, only one of you is allowed to queue. The rest are expected to wait at the Waiting Tent. Do not go in straight into the Tables Tent. If you do courteous staff will ask you to wait outside at the Waiting Tent
Therefore, decide what the whole group are having early on. Perhaps before disembarking your vehicle.
Upon placing your order, you will get the food at the ordering counter and you have to carry the food tray to the Dining Tent. You will also be assigned a specific Table Number. Locate the assigned table within the Table Tent, sit down and enjoy your meal.
For drinks, they will deliver the drinks you ordered to your table.
As for Takeaway, its more straight forward. Head straight to the queue labeled Bungkus, queue there and when its your turn place your order and you'll get the food immediately.
Payment: the accept a variety of payments eg debit credit card, eWallets TnG Boost etc and of course, cash. You can also do fund transfer to the bank accounts, details are provided at the...
Read moreKuala Terengganu (KT) very popular of Nasi Dagang, you can find number of names everytime you browse your search engine. As we missed the chance to try it during our first visit to KT, this time we we purposely wanna try one of it. It was suggested by grab driver on the way to the event’s place, he said the main branches will have longer queue as everyone will go there. The Rice is pre-served with one portion of rice topped with a slice of fish and cucumber cut. You can find the rice is soft and have an enough taste, not as bold as Nasi Lemak. Seems the fish was steamed before, so it also feels so soft and nice to chew. Tell the seller how many portions you want to take, and they will adjust the soup quantity to give you. I’m not a fan of soup especially those have curry or cream inside, but this one I feel I need to take it to complement the rice set, and yes it’s nice. The coconut milk is not too bold and not too spicy. To enhance your food experience in KT, ensure you add on the KT famous fish cake called Lekor, either thick or thin (my preference is the thick one). Remember to complete your meal with Tea Peng for the drink, just bit longer time to serve. Overall, as I don’t have much expectation how the Nasi Dagang should be, this consider ok to nice food, of course the lekor...
Read moreSuggested by one of the local. We found the best Nasi Dagang we’ve ever taste and even better this is by far the greatest example of an dining experience if your restaurant goes viral.
Food ate: Nasi dagang ayam dan ikan, teh ais.
Pros:
Cons:
For some people, the rice portion might be little. Might want to consider ordering extra rice if you’re a big eater.
No dedicated toilet. Toilet is shared with the neighbour surau (praying house).
There’s no actual toll there :(
Overall had a very very good experience and really enjoyed my time there. Every successful/viral restaurant should follow their style imo.
10/10 for overall. Let’s see if...
