Wok & Grill Cafe — Restaurant in Terengganu

Visited on puasa month. Called and made booking. Paid online. Requested for food to be ready by 6pm so we can eat and leave before by buka ok puasa. Food was prepared right on time as requested. Food quality was generally poor. Nasi goreng was sticky as if a little over cooked. They used the same nasi goreng for all types of nasi goreng.. jus add the dish by the side. Tom yam was sweet rather spicy. Their grill was ok ok only. Service was mix… there were 2 ladies and 1 guy serving the food. The guy always immediately got our request done. The other two ladies did not seem to bother our request. Each time had request again to the guy. Simple request like extra plate/ bowl or turn on the fan. We requested for sambal belacan, was told they don't have. But then at the counter while paying for the drinks another customer requested and got it.... How? Where did that sambal appear from? The place looks clean but FULL OF FLIES. As soon as the food was on the table the flies attacked. Had to keep swinging a board to chase the flies away the whole time. Also many cats were near our legs all the time asking for food.

We brought an ice-cream cake to celebrate birthday.. but was told there is no place to accommodate our ice cream cake in their fridge/ freezer. They initially refused to keep the cake anywhere stating no place ANYWHERE in the kitchen. Then I insisted to keep at least near counter since it's too hot to keep in car.

Overall. I would not recommend this place. The ratings are all wrong in my opinion. The only good from this shop was the male waiter / cashier... He was helpful and pleasant throughout. Should have jus gone to Mcd a...

Looks superb from far. But, staff was not friendly. The staff that served me, young boy seems to not well versed of the menu. Wrong order few times, need multiple correction and confirmation, he had no initiative to come and reconfirm the order despite being wrong few times, i had to call and ask him . Food was subpar, carbonara was too too milky, rice was undercooked. And specially for coffee lover, dont dont dont order coffee here unless they improve, staff claimed freshly brewed but i doubt (no grounding or brewing sound at all), spanish latter super sweet despite asking for less sweet, ice latte tasted very diluted. Paid total of rm82, not...

I am quite surprised with the rating, the food, ambience, service and quality is good and there are other restaurants or mama shop rated more than 4.5 and here and wok & grill Cafe deserve more than 4.5 rating. I really enjoyed food, it was tasty and Service was efficient, not much waiting time though I was not during peak hour, but I would love to come and try other food, hope they don't...
