Dining at Mawar Beach Restaurant, and I must say, the location is nothing short of breathtaking. Nestled right on the beachfront, the views are enchanting, with the sound of waves lapping against the shore creating a serene backdrop for a meal. However, please note that their opening times can be somewhat unpredictable, as I found myself waiting for a while before I was able to place my order. On the plus side, once they do open, the staff is efficient and quick to serve. For my meal, I opted for the Grilled Pineapple Chicken accompanied by fries. The chicken was exceptionally tender, and the sweet, tangy pineapple atop it added a wonderful contrast that delighted my taste buds. Unfortunately, I was somewhat taken aback by the portion size—it left me feeling unsatisfied and debating whether to order more or seek an alternative dining option altogether. Ultimately, I decided to explore other options. The fries weren't as impressive; they arrived cold and lacked the crispy, golden texture you hope for in such a dish. On a positive note, the coleslaw was a delightful surprise—fresh with a slightly tangy flavor, likely enhanced by a splash of vinegar, making it a refreshing complement...

Really close to the beach.. you can snorkle here too there's plenty of fish..the beach is sandy suitable for swimming and bathing,but there's also part of the area full of corals where fish love to swim! The chalets are clean, even the toilet, and they are air-conditioned. The food here is not very expensive.. can get fried rice from RM6.. there's a place for BBQ as well.. the staffs are super friendly and extremely helpful.. overall experience on the Island is much more memorable 💜✨ 10/10 would recommend...

Tastiest food closest to B&J dive centre!! Even though it was a 10-15min walk away, it was so good that we went there for lunch and again for dinner.

The fresh chicken special burger is soo good that almost 10 of us ordered the same dish. I would also highly recommend the watermelon juice!
