Sarang Seafood Village — Restaurant in Tioman

We visited Sarang Seafood Village during the off-season and had the entire restaurant to ourselves, creating a peaceful and intimate dining experience. I ordered my favorite HK-style Grouper, which was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. The Tom Yum soup had a well-balanced flavor, and the seafood fried rice was equally satisfying, with fresh ingredients and just the right seasoning.

Best food we had on Tioman. Ate here 3 nights. Prawns were perfect - better than Penang - large, plump and delicious. Golden pepper prawn was our favouriten dish. BBQ when available was delicious, fish cooked so tender. Oong choi (water spinach) cooked with garlic was refreshing, a nice break from the rich foods on our holiday. Friendly staff made us feel at home. And beers nice and cheap from the convenience...
