Suvadive Cafe — Restaurant in Hithadhoo

What happens to Suvadive Cafe? I loved this place since years and I was always happy. This time I was very disappointed. Me and my wife sit on a table close to the Fishpond. We had to wait around 15 min without even being noticed by anyone. Then I went to the bar to get the Menu Card myself because the waiter paid more attention to his phone than to the customers. By giving the order we recognized that the waiter clearly don’t know the short list of dishes they offer. He took the order and came back with questions, that he could have cleared right when we ordered. With two standard meals and one coke it was not very complicated. Still we had to ask for the coke after he bring the food wich came not hot but close to cold. The Suvadive had 3 Tables with each 2 Guests (incl. us) at this time. That should have beed managable. The overpriced meal is not worth it at all. I will not go there no more.

We enjoyed a truly delightful experience at Suvadive Cafe 😍. The staff was incredibly kind, and the drinks, to say the least, were intriguing and unique 🍹 — making it an excellent place to unwind and disconnect 🧘‍♂️.

While the price point leans towards the upper range, don't let this deter you 💸.

Kudos to the person in charge who efficiently assisted us with a minor issue regarding our bill - they undoubtedly earn a 10/10 from us 👏. Another round of applause goes to the staff member who provided fish food for my daughter to feed the goldfish 🐟, ensuring the experience was perfect for both adults and kids alike 👨‍👩‍👧.

A small note for next time: let's be a bit more meticulous with the cleaning of the chairs and ensure they are breadcrumb-free 🪑🍞!

When we entered the restaurant, there was no one to guide us, and we struggled to find a table with no assistance from the waiteress or hosts. We eventually found a table ourselves and sat down. It took another 13 minutes before a waitress finally attended to us, bringing the menu and water without a word before leaving abruptly. After waiting an additional 7 minutes, she returned to take our order. While the food was served eventually, getting the bill turned into another frustrating experience, as we had to wait for 25 minutes before it was provided.
