Food was probably one of the good things about Ritz Maldives. We had our daily breakfast at the main restaurant La Locanda and also went there for dinners. There were quite many options and was always delicious (particularly the Maldivian Lobster Omelette and the Maldivian Lobster dish at dinner!) and service was also great. Each of the waiters would properly introduce themselves and make sure you know whom you were talking to. We had great conversations and services provided by Sugar, Ismail, Saeid, Shaffaz, Zinach, Samooh and Zoo (that’s right!). Most memorable of all, at our first dinner we returned one dish we particularly did not like at all, the Chef at the La Locanda actually came out and asked for our feedback. He was very apologetic and eagerly curious to learn why we did not like the dish. He took our suggestions without any doubts and also offered to cook a complementary Italian dish that we often like for us next time we visited. Not just this, he also offered a great complementary desert for us as a sincere apology. One night we did not know where to dine so we went back to La Locanda, the Chef still remembered to cook us a really amazing Seafood Marinara. We hope he ended up replacing the dish we did not like with this delicious Seafood Marinara.

During our stay at the Patina, after a few days, we began to miss Italian pasta since our resort had a chef from Sri Lanka. For this reason, we decided to visit the Ritz Carlton, located right across the street. Chef Lorenzo amazed us extraordinarily: every dish was refined and unique, perfectly representing Italian cuisine. Despite his young age, Chef Lorenzo already demonstrates exceptional talent. I highly recommend the linguine with garlic, oil, and shrimp: not only was the flavor delicious, but the portions were also particularly generous, an aspect often lacking in many luxury resorts. I strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking an authentic and satisfying culinary experience.

Probably one of the best restaurants on the island. All the Risotto's, pasta and seafood were great. We got the Tomahawk steak twice because it was cooked to perfection. The staff there at very nice. They all deserve so much of our appreciation. Breakfast buffet is here and is a great deal if you wanna go for bottomless mimosas. The buffet and a la cart menu are included in the daily buffet price. Probably the most reasonable thing on the island. We originally were not having the best time on the island but the staff here really turned things around for us. Thanks you Ms. Sugar, Sayid, dude who makes the dosa's in the morning and many more. You really made a difference in our vacation.
