My colleague and I had a truly memorable experience at Only BLU, the largest under-ocean restaurant in the Maldives. Located 6.8 meters below sea level, the restaurant offers a beautiful view of marine life and a romantic dining setup for couples. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a welcome glass of sparkling wine and canapes. What impressed us the most was the extensive menu selection, with five different menus to choose from. Whether you prefer seafood, fish, meat, poultry, or vegetarian dishes, there is something for everyone. Each menu is paired with red and white wines to enhance the dining experience. The service was discreet and the appetizers, mains, and desserts were elegantly presented in wooden stands. The portion sizes were generous and the quality of the ingredients was top-notch. The staff were incredibly hospitable and attentive, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. We highly recommend Only BLU for anyone looking to experience fine underwater dining.

There are several advantages to dining at Only BLU. Firstly, the restaurant caters to guests of both OBLU Lobigili and OBLU Aliafushi resorts and is conveniently located in the middle of the jetty separating the two sister resorts. For Lobigili guests, one complimentary dining experience is included in the island inclusion plan for every four-night stay. As for Aliafushi guests, lunch or dinner at Only BLU is available at an additional charge as it is not included in the island inclusion plan. However, compared to other underwater restaurants in the Maldives, Only BLU is more affordable at USD 125 + taxes per person. Another advantage is the resort's proximity to Male International Airport, as it is only a 15-minute speedboat ride away and complimentary for all in-house guests.

Only Blu Under Ocean Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone who loves food and stunning views. The restaurant is located under the ocean, so you can see the colorful fish and coral reefs while you eat. The food is fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. I had the angus dish, which was cooked to perfection and served with a creamy sauce and vegetables. My partner had the octopus, which was also very tasty and moist.

The staff were friendly, attentive, and professional. Our server, Shrijana, was especially helpful and kind. She gave us great recommendations, checked on us frequently, and made sure we had everything we needed.

The best under water experience ever! We went to Only Blu in March, it’s the main reason I booked the hotel because of this restaurant. I’m so glad it’s exceeded our expectations! Great food and great atmosphere, the best of all are the staff, better than the staff from many Michelin star restaurants we went to. They were all lovely ladies and will let us know if it’s a shark around! They took some great photos and videos of us too! Best of all, they sang me a birthday song and brought out a fab delicious cake!! They made my birthday special!!
