This is the French restaurant located on the water. Reservations are needed for dinner and lunch. We had lunch here, and the place was quiet. The dress code is casual elegant, and trousers for men are needed. Don't worry if you have shorts, they will give the men a long skirt to wear. Exceptional table service it starts with the washing of your hands in rose water. We had the soup and mozzarella for starters, which was lovely. Main were Filet Mignon and the tuna steak. Read moreWe ate here for 2 dinners and 1 lunch over a 7 night stay and can’t rate it highly enough. In particular the tuna tartare, magic fish and Wagyu beef ragu gnocchi were stand out. Special shout out to Ashish who came out to check how our meals were and after raving about the gnocchi (probably the best we’ve ever had) proceeded to bring us another portion complete with burrata!
However note that due to different moon phases some nights there is no water! One evening we had a stunning marine life view with sting rays and sharks and just 4 days later there was no water so only indoor dining. Read moreNuestra experiencia en Falhumaa ha sido increible y hemos cenado 5 de las 6 noches en la isla. La comida está deliciosa y preparada con mucho detalle por la chef Khirthie, que además pasa por las mesas para saludar y comprobar que todo esté de tu agrado.
El entorno es muy agradable, si tienes suerte de poder cenar en la terraza exterior, puedes ver desde la mesa una vista increible del horizonte y de los baby sharks que se acercan.
El manager Sanoj ha hecho todo lo posible para hacernos disfrutar de cada plato como una experiencia única. Nos ha dado buenas recomendaciones (la langosta estaba espectacular, por destacar algún plato) y siempre ha estado atento para tratarnos como a su propia familia.
El resto del servicio de camareros, Afzal, Aisar, Kavendar y Shaina, han sido muy profesionales y cercanos con nosotros cada noche. Siempre con una sonrisa y haciéndonos la cena lo más cómoda posible.
Aunque pueda haber problemas en temporada alta (es muy recomendable reservar mesa) es claramente el mejor restaurante para cenar, aunque sales con la tripa llena y es conveniente darse un paseo o volver en bici a la villa.
