Sunset Bar — Restaurant in North Maalhosmadulu

The view out to sea is spectacular, especially at sunset! However, the bar is quite sad looking and doesn't feel warm and welcoming. There's not nearly enough chairs/seats around sunset time, so bring a towel and sit on the beach.

Cocktails are a bit hit-and-miss and generally too sweet. The house wine is quite terrible (it's cooking wine that comes in 1 liter cardboard boxes😱). At least the beers are pretty cold😊

Service can be a bit slow when it's busy (only one barman), but he's pretty friendly and will be happy to make you anything you desire.

Prices are reasonable considering the setting. USD6.15 for a beer or small glass of wine. USD10 to 12 for cocktails.

The winner here is definitely the view, so don't forget...
