Honey Bunny — Restaurant in South Maalhosmadulu

It's the only option with okay okay food in this island. But wait time is at least 50min to 2hrs even for an order like 1 chicken burger. The ambience is nice as well as the staff EXCEPT Laxmi. Her attitude and facial expressions spoiled my appetite. She kept the plate on my table making faces and when I asked for ketchup she very banged the bottle on the table. When I complained about her at checkout even then she stared at me as if she is least bothered and no one can do or tell her anything. The other staff was so apologetic but not her. Also she said she doesn't understand English. I wonder she being from Nepal working in a foreign land how she managed to get a job with no sense of work ethics and no command on English language . One of the best foods we have tried from a local island. Great atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating areas. Drinks were of top top quality during our first visit, however the staff needs to be trained well on the menu items. We ordered the same item on 3 different visits, however a different drink was served during the last 2 visits. It seems they do not understand the menu properly. Personally think this place is really overrated. They have so many plants all over that coming here is a guaranteed mosquito-feast, and they don’t provide repellant like most of the other places on the island. The restaurant is right next to the airport so views aren’t that great. The only thing we enjoyed was the seafood rice. Our bill had some extra dishes that we did not order, but curiously when we asked for them to be removed the total amount didn’t change.
