Isoletta — Restaurant in South Maalhosmadulu

During our honeymoon which we inspiredly chose to spend at Vakkaru Resort, among many other things, we also had lunch - several times - at Isoletta Restaurant. We enjoyed amazing seafood (calamari fritto, a fantastic prawns cocktail, a great grilled lobster and an amazing pizza ai frutti di mare) and as an extra I chose an incredibly tasty beef bone broth (ladies will understand why). Actually, the food we ordered was so good that there was no time to take any photos, we were like sharks meeting fresh blood :)) More than that, the serving stuff we got to meet here was awesome! Our two attendants - Putri and Bayo - treated us like we were part of the family. Because both me and my husband enjoy the experience of feeding the fishes, Bayo was kind enough to help us with some bread which we took with us by the end of our lunch. And if sunshine would be a person, well... that person would be Putri herself. She also is a fish lover like us, she gave us a lot of hints about the golden hour of snorkeling to see the most beautiful Maldivian coulourful fishes and she made especially for me 2 beautiful deco objects out of fresh leaves - a bird and a heart, using a similar Origami technique. She literally melted my heart and yes, she is great at doing these things! It feels so good to be treated like you are a special person, beyond the protocol/professional etiquette, which both Putri & Bayo did with us. Small gestures speak great volume. Thank you guys for making our staying at Vakkaru even greater than it already was, it would be such a joy & pleasure to...
