Moodhu Bar — Restaurant in South Maalhosmadulu

This restaurant and bar is on top of the ocean with endless sea view and sea breeze. You can see fishes swiming and if lucky you can see rays swim by too.

The food here are just delicious, we came here 2 times during our stay and we were not disappointed.

The atmosphere is just wonderful and relaxing, both for lunch and dinner.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming.

Starter -You get a basket of mix bread and a dipping to start off your meal. -Crudites: Fresh vegies dipping with hammus, baba ghanush and avocado crush. A refreshing and healthy start to a delicious meal. -Mix fried seafood: Loved it with the dipping.

Main -Risotto De Gambas: Rich and tasty risotto with fresh king prawns. (We actually ordered this during our second time since it was so good) -Fish and Chips: Crispy and well seasonned. The most importanting is that its not oilly too. -Crispy chicken burger: Crispy as its called with a nice coleslaw to balance the taste.

Dessert -Tiramisu: This is absolutely a MUST TRY. The best we have had ever -Mango Sticky rice: The stciky rice is a bit hard and could be more generous with the mango.

One and only open restaurant every day besides main buffet restaurant during covid time. As we did not have 3 meals with our stay, we went this place for lunch. It is on pier over the water. So can enjoy meal with watching beautiful ocean. The waiters were nice too. We get to talk with Afmed (hope spelled right), and enjoy knowing how the life being as employee of Reethi, and his local island. Sometimes we could see eagle rays come over, and we fed left over bread to fish from middle hole of this restaurant. So many big fish come over to eat the bread. This restaurant is open almost all day at the Reethi Beach Resort. The food is very good and the service is exceptional as is the rest of the resort. What is great about this place is the convenience of having a la carte food at different times of the day. The atmosphere is also amazing, you have the breeze of the sea, and it has a very romantic and natural scenery.
