Went for mother's day, they had a band playing and it felt like being inside a disco. Could hear the band playing from down the road. Waiters and owner could barely hear us when we spoke to them. The waiter wrote down incorrect order even though I pointed on the menu and he saw the dish I was pointing at. Food came after 2hrs with a dish missing and several sides missing. The owner told us that they were understaffed. I don't understand why accept all bookings if you know you are understaffed and then they send foreigners as waiters that cannot take correct orders. This room is basic to say the least, really olde worlde and typical of most Maltese bars of the 1960's. The tables are about 2 feet square so not a lot of spare room for two diners. However, first impressions can be deceiving! We were here for the food when all is said and done. A view would have been nice but never mind.
