Akira Restaurant in St. Julian's, Malta, The first time I went was on our team night out, it was so good I took my family a few days later. It is a spot you definitely want to check out. From the moment you walk in, you're hit with a cool, cozy vibe that's perfect for a great meal. The place is clean, looks amazing, and it's very welcoming. A big thumbs up to all the staff.

Akira has a modern and stylish design. The lighting is just right, the furniture is comfy, and the artwork is cool. It's a chill place whether you're out for a date or hanging with friends and family. The menu at Akira is a delicious mix of Asian fusion dishes. Everything is made with fresh ingredients, and you can tell the experienced chefs put a lot of love into their cooking.

The sushi and sashimi are perfect. The fish is fresh. The nigiri is so tasty, and the sashimi is full of flavor. Plus, the presentation is beautiful, well done to the chefs. If you're vegetarian as 2 of our group were, Akira has you covered.

The drink menu is just as impressive, nice wines and the staff can help you pick the perfect one for your meal.

We were welcomed warmly by the staff. We have a reservation, but I think they also accommodate walk-ins. The place looks very fancy.

We ordered pecking duck, Hong Kong roasted pork ribs, bao buns, and Thai pineapple seafood rice. Our orders were delicious, and although the prices were expensive, it was worth it. I think the quality of the food could be improved. The pecking duck was cut thickly. My friend told me that authentic pecking duck should be served in thin pieces. The pork marinade was also not consistent. My friend got a very red roasted pork compared to mine. When we tried it, it tasted the same, so we don't have any problems with it. The staff offered to replace the food, but we said that it's fine as long as it tastes the same.
