To The Bulgarian “Menu” Man

My girlfriend and I popped in here for a quick bite to eat before going to places for a drink.

We was greeted by the “menu man” who spent his time talking us through the menu. This man was so kind, we could tell he really cared for us as his customers. He was the first one to make sure we was happy with our food, drinks ect. His services was so fast, the minute we ordered our drinks he had already bought them out for us and he insisted to make sure we was happy with it before he walked off.

As we sat outside our table was next to the street, we got a few strange interactions but one certainly strange one, we had a drunk Canadian man who sat down next to us and wanted to talk to us whilst we was eating our food, this conversation was very uncomfortable. The Bulgarian Menu man rushed over to us and ushered this man out of the restaurant, he genuinely seemed very concerned for mine and my girlfriends safety.

I honestly don’t have a bad word to say about this Bulgarian man, he was the most helpful, kindest, caring man i have ever met.

I hope you see this review and it makes you as happy as it made my girlfriend to of had your company/service whilst dining.

I think the other waiters/waitresses should really take a leaf out of this man’s book as they all seemed like they couldn’t of cared less if we had choose to eat in this place or not, they was not very polite to us at all, didn’t seem to care of us, my girlfriend even made a point to one of the waitresses that the Bulgarian “Menu” Man was so lovely and she just sort of nodded her head and walked off, she didn’t let the man know we had said this about him. Quite frankly if it wasn’t for this man who seemed so lovely and like he really cared for us as soon as we got there we probably wouldn’t have sat in there for food.

We are here for 14 days been here before 2 years ago.this place very popular the prices are good.most of the staff are friendly and very good selection of food.But due to fact our hotel had their kitchen closed by government they made a deal with the black bull to do breakfasts.Now That's fine but it's not a buffet breakfast as paid for up front.It is a choice of between 4 different selections .one small pot of tea or cup coffee or juice not both or have as much as you want.So first morning went there and breakfast full English cold .sent back.the sausages were hot very tasty.bacon cold but the taste was lovely egg not cooked on top overcooked bottom.mushrooms too much oil used greasy.beans cold.toast cooked one side u got 4 bits.now it got to their stage where I just had the sausages 3 .my husband did try to have different selections each day mostly cold even sent back all the time .So disappointed and after all the days here and believe it I did not go to breakfast on Saturday 17 but hubby did the breakfast was s HOT 🔥the toast was toasted both sides.when he came back to the room felt rage as I had been so fed up with it all.I understand it's s hard but according to hotel they informed travel people no buffet breakfast but the travel people did not tell us.The again you don't know everyone is calling each other .I also know it's extra work for staff.But the owner gets more business maybe the cook that was on this morning knew what is a hot full...

i ordered from yourselves last night on wolt. My order was approx 40 euros. on receipt of the order we noticed items missing i.e. we ordered the duck and pancakes @ 17.50 euros, not much duck, no hoisin sauce and should of received 4 veggie somasas but got 2. from the set menu, also the dishes were cold. I am not in habit of complaing but i thought i should complain as i did not receive what i paid for... we looked forward to the sauce with duck otherwise the duck was very dry which was very disappointing. having finished our meal i went on the wolts app to inform them of this... they(wolt i mean) were very helpful they informed the restaurant straight away. however, i was disappointed in the reply from the restaurant, saying they would send the sauce and missing 2 somosas, which i replied back what is the point we have already ate the food - we were hungry hence getting a takeaway. they then informed me did i take a photo, again no i didnt. i asked for a refund of the duck dish but they only offered me 6 euros. what a joke. then they said they will check their CCTV ! are you having a laugh ? anyway by then i was getting stressed messaging back and forth with wolt and the restaurant. the restaurant has not got back to me which is very rude and unprofessional I am very disappointed with their service and customer service too. i will not use this restaurant again.
