Club Sushi St.Julians — Restaurant in Saint Julian's

This was a very unpleasant experience. I'm so sorry for you, even though I've only been a customer of your restaurant for nine years and not only love the flavor, but it's like my family restaurant and I order takeout every week. I never expected that a restaurant with long experience would have such an embarrassing and disrespectful experience.

Today, my family and I went to club sushi to celebrate my aunt's birthday (my birthday was also held here last year). We handed the cake to the front desk and asked him to serve us at the end. They agreed as usual, and everything went fine here, except for the waiter's language communication difficulties, and the food was still as I expected. We enjoyed our meal and no one asked us how we felt, but it was a good day and we are not the perfectionist type. Then came the birthday cake part. I couldn't believe it, but the man actually put our cakes on the table with the packaging box and the candles next to them, telling us that there was no fire to use. We were stunned and said, can you please bring a plate and a knife? The man asked me disdainfully that I should have told them we had a birthday when we made the reservation. I was shocked, 🤯, last year, when I was here to my birthday , I was told that I needed to pay a service fee of 10 euros. I thought it was okay and fair. This year, it felt like that cake was swung in my face. As a customer, I have been to so many restaurants for various birthday parties. For the first time, I felt that I was not worthy of sitting in a "noble" place like Club Sushi. I should get down on my knees, beg them, and thank them for taking our money.

Thank you, I think this will be the last time that I, my family, and my friends will spend at this "good restaurant". It was 206 euros including tip of 11 euros.take it. And...

So, my husband and i came here many times coz we really loved the place. This time around we came with our 3 year old kid. The staff were really great and allowed my toddler's own food in the restaurant. The service was wonderful with very attentive and friendly staff. They also added new items to the menu. We tried the korean fried chicken, it's ta kangjung if im not mistaken and they added bossam too and the teokboki i hope i spelled it right 😊. Great food, great ambience, clean! great experience!
