Kon Tiki — Restaurant in Saint Julian's

What a disappointment @ €50 a head a table of 7. Christmas eve😔. On arrival we had to walk down one side of the restaurant then back to finally be seated once our table was found. Then we sat there like lemons waiting for some information, asked one waitress 3 times to explain to us how and what and where the lay out and location of starters mains etc but communication was an issue. Drinks order taken and arrived incomplete ( 2 bottles of water never arrived) As no one explained the lay out we walked all round to find what and where food was located. Starters just ok, then the boomshell! All meats turkey beef veg practically shy of cold, but definitely cold when you arrive at the end of the meal. By this stage the night was a question to justify to €50 a head when times 7 could have done a good shopping and had alot more to show for. I thought I would try the Indian section ,!! Omg the mess around the dishes splattered like a 2 year had just made a mess, the serving spoon could be handled without getting sauce all over you. Talk about eye for details absolutely disgusting and a big disappointment of a night. Totally regret having booked. Food temperature is far from what it should be and certainly expected alot more. My recent dining experience at Radisson Blu's Kon Tiki restaurant was absolutely amazing! The buffet spread was incredible, with something for everyone – from surf n' turf to fresh sushi and salads. The Italian and Thai dishes were standout favorites, especially the pork stew and ravioli.

And let's talk desserts – they were heavenly! The ice cream corner had so many flavors, and the caramel popcorn one was a hit for me.

But what really made the experience unforgettable was the fantastic service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we had a great time.

Overall, dining at Radisson Blu's Kon Tiki was a treat, and I can't wait to go back for their Sunday buffet! Huge thanks to the whole team for making it such a memorable...

I used to love going to the saturday/ sunday buffet. Last Sunday however, the place was overbooked, the parking full. We had a reservation, and when we were going to be shown are seating, they told us that someone else had taken the table, and showed us toa table of 3, instead of 4, and were going to add a chair. This was packed between two large groups. Seating used to be spaced, now it was all crammed. We waited for 15minutes in the lobby due to high volume of people. So much background noise. Food has always been amazing. Nonetheless overbooking and a bitter experience has made me rethink my review...
