We went as a couple when staying at the next door Corinthia hotel as an easy-choice dinner option. To be honest, the restaurant is basically no better than 'OK' based on our one visit (we visited several other nearby restaurants twice). On arrival, we had to actually ask for a menu having been seated for 5 mins. My main course was only lukewarm (burger, with the cheese slice hardly melted inside the bun) as though it had been standing for a while until I'd finished my mussels (good) starter. After our main course only half of the table was cleared and again we had to ask for further service once it was clear that nobody was going to clear the rest. At this stage we bailed out, settled the bill (the only time we didn't give a tip in 10 days) and went back to the lovely Corinthia hotel bar louge for our coffee, tea and a small pastry desert. I'm sure (hope) that our Le Bistro experience was not the usual one. The staff were quite polite and perfectly friendly. It's probably the case that they were just not well-trained. The waiter took the bottle I had ordered ā this was unopened. Then he took another open bottle and went to the manager to ask which one to pour. The manager told him not to open a new bottle and to serve me another wine. They didnāt say anything to me as they thought I didnāt see or would not recognize the bottles. The waiter brought the wrong wine to me. I asked him, what was the name of the wine. With bright eyes he lied that it was the one I had ordered. When I called out his lie he started to exchange looks with the manager after which the manager replied āok, ok, ok, we open the bottleā. Nothing further, no explanations, no apologies, nothing. UNBELIEVABLE! I could expect this to happen in shabby restaurants who are in the business of cheating, but not in a Radisson Hotelās high-end restaurant! The staff offered to reserve both tables for us so we could decide once we arrived where we would like to sit. Our host was Andreas who was amazing and very helpful throughout our lunch - he explained all the dishes very carefully and was just overall a very good host.
