We went for dinner with my family last week!
We got warm bread, that is one of the few places in Malta where they serve fresh from the oven bread!!!! It was delicious!!!!!
We ordered for an appetiser Polpette di Zuccini - it was cooked to perfection as well! It is soft texture and rich taste.
For the main course I ordered beef cheeks, which to be honest was “ok”, it was not as tender and soft as it could be. Also mash potatoes was super salty. We had a side of grilled vegetables, which had too much rosemary on it, regardless what you eat, you can taste only rosemary.
My husband wanted a ribeye and we were surprised that it is not on the menu. However, when we asked if there is a ribeye, they said “yes,sure!”. I just do not understand why there is no such option on the menu. The ribeye was great, it was very tender and juicy! We both liked it a lot!

However the side dishes have way too small portions considering that the average table would consume 1,~kg of meat shared with at least 1 person the sides are too small. The starter made of wild boar meatballs and caramelised onion was tasty as well as the bread and the wine.
❌the service is too insistent, it’s good to check on customers but too much is too much , moreover the waitress started plating the meat on her own initiative without asking, until I kindly asked her to 🛑 ✋ stop.
Also the waitress overheard that we were speaking in Spanish so she immediately switched to Spanish which I understand it can be interpreted as a friendly gesture but at the same time it felt a bit condescending making assumptions about us.
