Tango & Fork — Restaurant in Saint Julian's

We recently dined at tango and fork on a very busy busy service on a saturday night ... we didnt have any reservation but they had space and welcomed us all ..

We had the local octopus and local rabbit because on all reviews ,we noticed that those were their specialities and their famous for thwir rabbit and bisque sauce ...

The rabbit was tender and juicy , and the gravy was simply amazing , so cudos to the chef ..

The octopus melted in my mouth while their famous caper sauce just went on my taste buds and had a feast ...

The service was also good , the waiter (saroy) recomended thise dishes and we trusted him with our eyes closed ...

We had a chance to spwak with the chef aswell , as he explained his dedication to his career and the effort he put in his dishes ..

Wonderful food and truly special service! We had a fantastic dinner at tango&fork - the food was absolutely delicious, full of fresh flavours and beautifully prepared. But what really made our evening memorable was the amazing service we received. Our waiter, Damian turned out to speak the same language as us which immediately made us feel welcome. He took amazing care of us throughout the evening. Damian explained every dish with passion, answered all our questions, and checked on us often to make sure we had everything we needed. He was incredibly kind, friendly, and always smiling - his positive energy made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The worst experience I have ever had — I believe the other reviews are fake.

We ordered rabbit with fries and salad, croquettes and chicken wings. The croquettes were impossible to eat and completely disgusting. The taste was as if they were cooked in gasoline and they crambled upon touching them. The rabbit which we wanted to try as the traditional maltese specialty was tasteless, not properly cleaned, cold and hard to chew. We have been eating rabbit regularly in our home country and this was very disappointing. The chips were worse than macdonalds chips and the salad was tasteless and as if it was bought from the grocery store pre-made.
