I was really enjoying my time watching the football last Tuesday with my family until the bartender with a pony tail and tattoos threatened to STAB us after accusing me of throwing a glass because it apparently came from my direction (bare in mind I am a 21 year old girl). ‘Don’t make me stab you’ were his exact words. He left the bar just to shout abuse at us and then said it only loud enough so me and my boyfriend could hear. He then continued staring at us with hate after my sister discussed the situation with the manager when he was moved further down the bar.

This glass was thrown after a group of teenagers broke 4 glasses throughout the game because they were so rowdy and he didn’t think to assume it was them yet accused me and my boyfriend who literally didn’t get up from our seats the whole game? I was shook up for the rest of the night because his threat scared me.

I have NEVER felt so uncomfortable or been in a situation like this and I am disgusted at the bartenders behaviour and words, especially jumping to conclusions and not checking CCTV first for facts. His attitude was extremely poor even before this event. Very unprofessional and an embarrassment to the pub and lost it money because we left afterwards. Safe to say I will not be visiting here and again and will be express my opinions to friends who are looking to visit...

VERY DISAPPOINTING. So a few months ago I visited this place and had a really great time and the atmosphere was so comfy. I have ordered the fish and chips from the menu and it was very good and quite a generous size of the fish and really enjoyed it. Since I had a very great time at this place I revisited yesterday and ordered the fish and chips again but this time it was disgusting. The portion was 1/4 the size of last time which was abvious that the fish was cut in half cause my girlfriend ordered the same as me. It did not matter that much but to add on to this, the fish was tasteless and very chewy that it was more like meat plus it still had the fish bones. We stopped eating this and told our table server that it's very bad and disgusting, he said thank you. Obviously he was not understanding me and kept saying thank you everytime I explaine that it's very bad. Finally he understood and told me that he will be speaking to someone in charge meanwhile I ordered another pint and waited. An hour passed and no one came the check what the problem was and I had seen the server speaking to his management so they knew of this. Finally I got fed up and asked for the bill, paid it and left. Very dissapointing and will not visit again, worst plate I was ever served in my life, their chef should learn the...

READ ALL 1* STAR REVIEWS BEFORE GOING HERE (not just mine ALL) on staffs behaviour

We ordered French fries to staff 1 I think his name was Saba. Staff2 bought wedges to our table I explained very softly patiently no we had ordered for fries he got angry and shouted at us saying he was not the one who took (also which acknowledges that it was fries it was wedges) he went to staff1 and now staff brings the same plate and day this is fries we told no this is not and he argued that those wedges are fries, such a liar shameless. I think he judged based on our brown skin that we do not know what are fries and what are wedges! Such cheating mind and racial behaviour. “I am attaching the photo of the so called fries” that staff 1 (Saba) argued. And later in the bill he shamelessly billed as wedges. Joke on you! We did not wanted to argue further since it was a special occasion which you ruined.

I can’t understand that there is lot of competition in this area and how is this pub surviving even with such rude staff?! Either people are drunk in this bar and don’t know how they are being treated or mostly only whites visit here !

Pub management you only care money not how...

I recently visited The Long Hall Irish Pub in St Julian's and was thoroughly impressed with the experience. The pub is located perfectly, right in the heart of where all the parties and action are happening. Despite the lively atmosphere, the pub still managed to maintain a cozy and welcoming vibe. One of the highlights of my visit was catching the Euro game between Spain and Croatia. Even though it was a Saturday afternoon, they had the football commentary on, which added to the excitement. The large screens provided a great view of the game from any spot in the pub. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. They were quick to serve and always had a smile, making us feel right at home. If you're looking for a great spot to enjoy some drinks, catch a game, and soak up the vibrant atmosphere of St Julian's, The Long Hall Irish Pub is the place to be. Highly recommend!

Ideal Irish pub situated in busy area. Excellent selection of beers. They even had an IPA on tap and lots of UK craft ale bottles in the fridges. Malta is cheap for drinking anyways so this place was a good place to stop for a drink. The guy behind the bar made me several perfect Old Fashioned cocktails even though they were not on the menu. He only charged me for the whiskey so ended up being a couple of euros each. Couldn't complain at that. Loud classic rock music was playing at the end of the night and everyone (including us) was up dancing to Queen and the likes. Fantastic atmosphere especially toward the end of the evening. Really lively just like a real Irish pub!
