Top Seaside Kiosk in the North of the Island
This kiosk is a hidden gem located right by the sea in the north of the island, where the fresh breeze is nearly constant — adding a refreshing touch to every visit.
Food & Beverages They serve a delicious variety of daily freshly prepared baguettes, ciabattas, and brown ciabattas, each filled with a mix of quality ingredients. My personal favourite is the brown ciabatta with smoked salmon, feta cheese, tomato, and fresh lettuce — simply unbeatable.
There’s also a large selection of homemade pies, each generously filled and full of flavour. If you’re craving something sweet, you’ll find a tempting range of pastries, cakes, and doughnuts.
Coffee lovers, take note — you can get **tea, coffee, espresso, or cappuccino for just €1. That’s right — quality hot drinks at an unbeatable price.
Service You place your order and pay at the counter, and then a waiter brings your food directly to your table. A VAT receipt is always provided, and the service is both fast and friendly.
Cleanliness The entire kiosk is kept spotless. The toilet facilities are regularly checked and cleaned, making it one of the cleanest kiosks around.
Whenever you are in the area of Sirens Waterpolo pool, don’t forget to visit...
Read moreI visited Federica Kiosk this morning. The food was absolutely great – fresh and tasty, no complaints there. But unfortunately, the service was terrible.
The woman working there (an older Maltese lady) was extremely rude and shouting for no reason. There was no “good morning,” no “welcome,” not even a basic greeting – just cold, unfriendly, and unprofessional behavior from the start. It felt like we were bothering her just by being there.
When we asked for the bill, she said the receipt machine was broken and that she could only give us the terminal to pay, and we could check the total on our bank app. But I wanted to see the prices for each item, and when I asked, she started shouting again, listing prices in a very rude tone. And then, magically – not even two minutes later – she brought us a printed receipt, saying the machine was suddenly working again.
With this kind of attitude, I honestly have no intention of ever coming back. No matter how good the food is, if the service is disrespectful and aggressive, the whole experience is ruined. I truly hope this woman is not the owner, because she’s pushing...
Read moreThe kiosk is perfectly located by the sea. Food is always fresh as they sell large quantities of all the items in their counter. Never been let down. Coffee depends on who is behind the counter. More often than not, it's good though. Pigeons are on the increase there and heard people complaining as they come for the crumbs etc. this can cause health issues so needs to be addressed. Service to the tables can be much better and the servers need to be supervised as they tend to clean the tables partially at times with only a wet cloth. Could be a better experience for all, especially for tourists visiting our islands....
