Star of India — Restaurant in Saint Paul's Bay

We stumbled upon this Indian restaurant with modest expectations, merely exploring after trying many others in the area.

The place was empty, but that didn't deter us. Thank goodness we stayed, as we were treated to the most incredible prawn curry I've ever had! The naan bread was equally exceptional, prompting a second order. My girlfriend's chicken curry was just as flavorful.

This unexpected find turned out to be not just the most memorable curry experience in Malta, but also the most memorable of all restaurants I’ve tried in Malta!

Truly a hidden gem worth...

Great food, not huge portions, probs over priced but pretty good (curious to see if Indians think it’s authentic)

We had dinner on the terrace overlooking Xemxija Bay. Food was great and a nice selection of wines. For red wine lovers, suggest you try the Primitivo Pepe Nero. Reasonably priced. The Maltese waiter, did not get his name, was extremely helpful in explaining the choice and selection of food . Give this guy a rise.
