The Peppermill — Restaurant in Saint Paul's Bay

"The Peppermill is a real insider tip! Inconspicuous at first, but more than worth a visit! You can taste the good quality of the freshly caught seafood and you can't go wrong with your order 🎣 there's even a starter (Maltese bread, butter, oil) and a limomcello 🍋 on the house. The ambience is very familiar and you can, if you want, have friendly conversations with the cook, her son (who owns a fish&chips shop in the same street - just as delicious!) and the waitress. All very warm and attentive. You don't have a sea view, but with the delicious food, that's not necessary at all. I have already been here twice and once in the fish & chips shop and was very satisfied all 3 times! This holiday would of been a complete disaster if not for the professional quality of the Topaz Hotel and the Peppermill. The food (though limited menu) was all homemade and high quality, the best Spaghetti Bolognese, Pasta/Salmon and Cheeseburger I've ever tasted. The beer was cheap, but it was the People that was priceless, the locals that frequented the pub made us feel welcome and the owner Antonio is a gem. We came everyday for that reason.

You must come here for the food...

My food was just fine. I had chicken pasta, but the servis was so horrible. We waited about 30 minutes for food, thats not terrible. The waitress was unwelcome. After we ate food, we waited 20 minutes for check. My friend ordered caesar salat and it was terrible. It cost 8, euros. On menu it was written, that in that salat will be a bacon, but it wasn’t. She told that to waitress and she said, that in the menu is a mistake and gave her only 50 cent discount. I don’t...
