Okay Guy's here it is , Being a Restaurateur of 30 years and a die hard visitor to this Island since 1980 ,I Dont know why I've missed this place which I've passed on numerous occasions , dining out in Malta is not an easy task or a pleasent 1, they are 2 many varibles and different levels of palates and whats acceptable, my review on this esbalishment is based on my visit last week and what I had served up, the staff were very pleasant and attentive . We ordered Bruschetta to share which was flavoursome and came with Parmassam Our Mains Spaghetti Carbonarra Ham & Mushroom Tagliatelle Salmon Penne Pasta Very Good sized portions all wash down with a lovely well balanced Pinot Grigio perfectly chilled, Being a pasta lover and maker of many dishes, may I add I'm very reluctant to eat in these places, as it often turns out to be very dissapointing.... this is not the case at the ... I due sardi , I was very suprised how similer these dishes all tasted infact probably the best I've ever tasted in any resturant, I can only highly recommend it ,I'll be going back again very soon , may I also add , the Pizza Chef is a very lively and interactive person as witnessed ,the only thing I'm going to be critical about is the fact that you sometimes feel that youre sitting on a Motoway while dining outside which detracts from the ambience of the area and surroundings, this is by no means the fault of the owner but rather the Maltese Roads Minister, who have altered the route of the traffic and now it all flows through this small quaint area in both directions maybe a pettion to alter the route would help .... but it nothing to put you off from trying this...
Read moreThey serve pre-cut bread from the shop with a side of Danish hotel butter. We were first guests of the evening. Second guests came 20 min later and they got food before we did.
At least the kitchen was having fun, saw them dancing to the music.
Ordered spaghetti gamberi, tagliatelle pescatora, and a small margarita for our 2 year old.
My spaghetti had no taste. Her tagliatelle were thrown together in what looked like a piss bucket in a hospital so she couldn't even pull a whole tagliatelle out but it all kept braking and it was barely edable.
The pizza,....omg..we just wanted a small pizza. The pizza "chef" decided he will be creative and tried to make a fish or something out of the dough. So the edible part was not as big as the "fins". Fail.
We waited so long for something so disappointing. I am normally the one who eats everyting of of all the plates if there is something remaining. This time there was a lot of food left on all the plates.
Sad day for food. If this is how they do it on Sardinia, we will not go.
The portions are big but so is a bread in the supermarket.
We went for a kebab at the Corner kebab. And ice cream at SottoZero.
The beer was nice...a paulaner weisbeer in a birra moretti glass.
50 euros total for something we...

We ate in this restaurant last week, pasta and pizza are correct but the dishes take a very long time to arrive and yet there were not many tables outside. We were seated on the terrace of another restaurant which is currently closed, so we were a bit far from the atmosphere. We came after receiving a flyer on the street. Besides, there are a lot of flyer on the ground in the streets when I jog in the morning between st pawl and Bugibba... People get rid of it and it often ends up in the sea! do not use this advertising technique too much
Luckily for us a restaurant next door puts on music to create atmosphere while we wait and during service as it is not very friendly.
We don't come to the restaurant just to eat but for the interactions with the servers, the ambience of the restaurant...maybe it's much better inside. There are many pizzerias nearby, the difference is not only in taste or price but in...
