An immersive and unique Mauritian experience that has become our top favourite throughout our travels (so far, 20 countries).

The food sent me to the heavens it was that good, traditional Mauritian food and divine rotis with delicious sides. I strongly recommend the ‘Falcq’ menu and when asked for their recommendations on deserts, they blew us away.

Next up the setting, you will be sat within a banyan tree, with gorgeous lighting to set an amazing ambience.

Finally, the staff. We’ve eaten here twice already and plan to come back again, they’re so passionate and just incredible. There were many amazing staff but the one name we got was Ashwan, thank you for sharing your tips on how best to tuck into the delicious food. Wanted to come here and mis lead from all the staff about the children policy. We had travelled across the island to meet some friends. We couldn’t eat here and many of the staff were incompetent in assisting us. I love the LUX brand, just wouldn’t come to this location again. Would not recommend.

Other friends warned me about this particular location but I didn’t believe it as I love the LUX.

So upsetting that as from reception to the restaurant staff - not helpful. One member of staff said it was because the tables were dirty from the tree debris - kids can’t come. I spoke to the ‘manager ’ and he said it was hotel policy that children not allowed in this restaurant...

We've dined here multiple times for both lunch and dinner, and each visit has been an exceptional experience. We've had the chance to try a variety of dishes from the menu, and every single one exceeded our expectations. The flavors were perfectly balanced, the ingredients fresh, and the presentation outstanding. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal.
