Treasures — Restaurant in Isle Mauritius

Food was good, and the manager was polite, but everything else was disastrous. We booked the karaoke room way ahead of time for a birthday party, but here’s everything that ruined the experience: Snacks were all served on the same platter, even though the manager promised ahead of time that they’d be served separately after I said I have guests allergic to seafood. Slow service. We ended up having to serve our guests ourselves where we could. In fact, it was so slow that some guests were leaving even before dessert, which we ended up having to serve by ourselves. Most of all, the mic for the karaoke wasn’t working and we only got informed about it 15min before the party. There was no one on site who could set it up. We had to do the karaoke (the main reason we booked that place) without a karaoke mic. When we mentioned the service was way below our expectations, there was no refund or discount whatsoever, even though the manager could clearly see we had not received our money’s worth. We went for lunch on a saturday. The restaurant was empty. I was not sure if it would be really pricey but when I check the menu before entering the place, the menu seems like any other Chinese restaurant. The waitress was really kind and sweet with us. She guides us through the menu and we end up with so many flavourful dimsum as a starter.

Some cocktails along with the main dishes. We had a really great portion of the fried rice the Sauted beef was so yummy and easy to bite.

The place is so classic and clean. There was lot of space. Dine inside or outside the restaurant with a great view on the soflo mall.

I would highly recommend if you are looking for a dinner with family or meeting business.

overpriced for the quantity and quality. The assorted platter was not value for money. Chicken was not fresh and had the taste of having been frozen for a long time. Had the impression that it was pre cooked, kept in the fridge and then reheated. The venison black pepper was good though. The taste was there but fish and chicken did not seem fresh for the fried tze chuan fish and gongbao diced chicken respectively. The manager was sympathetic enough as well as the waiter and waitress. But still have to improve for the ingredients used in the menus - i.e. freshness. I personally would not recommend if you give importance to that.
