Ah-Youn VRAIE CUISINE CHINOISE — Restaurant in Vacoas-Phoenix

Very disappointed by attitude of proprietors against an old man of 67 years who unfortunately left his wool cap after dinner on sunday 9th july 2023. Once home, the victim realised he left his wool cap in restaurent he phoned the restaurent he explained he forgot his cap the reply was there is no cap. The old man being sure he left the cap on the empty chair their . Called the restaurent a second time explaining where the cap is again the reply sir theres no cap left .. some 40 minutes later the restaurent called back to confirm they found the cap with regrets and said on Tuesday you can collect the cap. Today 12th July at 18hrs , passing through the restaurant to pick-up the cap . The cap was not found and 2 male employees who are proprietors made harsh , rude remarks to the old man .. And they seem not concern of clients...

This is a zero star rating. First of all, we customers, after having a tiring day wish you have dinner at a cozy place and after dinner, we don’t hesitate to pay you what you deserve and making sure the one who looks after us is looked after too. In return, we don’t expect YOUR waiters so slam the plate on the table like we’re eating for free.. no cutleries with starters and mains, and service was so poor and guess what, The lady in charge ignored our comments.. P.s I serve my dog with better attention. Your staffs need to learn how to properly talk to customers and also name each dish when being presented to the table.. the dish was slammed on the side of the table without cutleries and I guess they expected us to slam our faces in it.. The snack next door has better service...

Nice sit down restaurant with a dozen tables. Slightly pricey for the portions. I ordered crispy squid and a bol renversé. Service was quick as the place was empty on a public holiday.

The crispy squid was quite chewy and the portion was meagre for the Rs275 I paid. The bol renversé was dissapointing. It lacked salt and the sauce tasted bland. It was cooked in a different style and the vegetable and chicken pieces was of a generous amount.

The quality of the food itself needs to improve and the portion of starters do no justify...
