We had a delicious meal at Mayer's Restaurant & Cafe. I had the Eifeler Wildragout (wild boar and venison in a red wine sauce). My husband had the Schweineschnitzel „Jäger Art“ (breaded pork in a hunter's sauce with fresh mushrooms). Everything was so delicious we just had to try the Apfelstrudel (apple strudel) - we were not disappointed!! The service was perfect and the chef is very skilled and personable. Highly recommend this restaurant. Especially during the pandemic, they are very committed to covid safety measures.

We had a very nice dinner here. Fantastic asparagus with hollandaise sauce and schnitzel. The French onion soup was a little salty but very cheesy. The dessert was awesome as well. Only one thing to complain, there was a group of people who sat next to our table (possibly bikers?) were a VERY loud. I know that wasn't the fault of the restaurant but without these lousy people the place would get 5 stars from me.

An einem Samstag Abend besuchten wir zu viert das Restaurant. Zum Glück hatten wir reserviert. Denn das Team hatte mehrere Feiern gleichzeitig im Haus. Davon haben wir nicht das geringste mitbekommen. Was echt eine riesige Herausforderung ist. Das Service Team war perfekt vorbereitet, wir hatten uns von Anfang an willkommen gefühlt. Das junge Team war immer parat und überzeugt auf ganzer Linie. Die Speisen ob in der Wochenkarte oder Speisekarte sind von der Auswahl, Qualität, Temperatur und Geschmack hervorragend. Die Monchauer Sempfsuppe, Wildragou, Creme Brülee von der Tonkabone köstlich. Zum Schluss gab es ein Hausschnaps, Kaffee. Wem es nach Schleiden verschlägt ob beruflich oder privat sollte ein Besuch in dem tollen Restaurant einplanen. Übrigens dass Preis/Leistung Niveau ebenfalls top. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit.

Stopped by for lunch on the way home from the Nurburgring, had a superb Kassler, lovely cuts of Pork with Sauerkraut and Mashed Potato. Helpful staff and great food, Perfect
