I was referred here and really wanted to like this place. I’m all for enterprising youth and push my kids to max-out their opportunities, but experience and tact matter and you see how with a 15 yr old in the kitchen, and a 14 and 17 yr old running the floor.
So our waiter explains the bitter taste to us as being what alcohol actually tastes like, and the guy black chars the pork on the spit despite me telling them twice that I was worried that meat was coming to my plate. “Oh no no, it’s not burnt, don’t worry”. The rompo was stationary…what could go wrong. I left a little pile of that rock hard grit on the table to show him what I was imagining.
