We've heard great things about this place before visiting, so maybe our expectations were too high, but I was not very impressed. Had the langusta gratinado and it sounded much better on the menu than it was in reality. When dealing with such a delicate ingredient as a langusta, I expected they would use quality cheese and grill it to perfection. Instead I got cheese that was probably bought at Oxxo and it was a mess overall.

While not a bad place per se, this restaurant did not live up to the hype for me. Still a nice place to down some chelas and have some seafood, just go for some of the other...

Pulpo Asado so damn good, I had to come here twice. Probably not the cheapest place with prices similar to what you would pay for octopus in Tucson at a “mariscos” restaurant. The big difference is El Pargo Rojo is by the sea, there’s a fresh fish market down the road in the old town, and the food here is succulent and appetizing. Then of course, there’s the atmosphere… it’s Bahia de Kino, the beach just across the street. The restaurant was clean, service correct. We had a great time both nights — glad I got a chance to...

It's not bad if you have time to wait on drinks and meal. I was there on a Monday ordered a beer prior to my meal and it literally took them 10min to get the beer. Keep in mind the restaurant only had maybe 4 tables. They had maybe 7 people working. I thought maybe they forgot but on the second beer it took around the same time. I waited maybe 30min to get my food. It wasn't bad but if you're in a rush this might not be the place for you. I can only imagine what the wait time would be on a busy...

I am not a big seafood person, but my wife and kids are. They loved it. The tostadas are huge, so don't go crazy ordering a bunch. I ordered the fried shrimp, which was a huge plate, and you can share it. Great, good quality and quantity. Dish sizes are huge, so don't over order. Service was great, fast, and friendly. We were there during the week, very chill and quiet. I am sure the weekends and holidays can get chaotic.

It's very Americanized for shrimp and fish tacos, I ordered fish tacos and was expecting fresh fish but they served me 3 breaded fish tacos, kinda like ordering from del taco, and the waitress was very slow in bringing us our soft drinks, had to remind her, I would suggest ordering shrimp cocktails, the shrimp tacos my girlfriend ordered had cheese on them and it was greasy.
