Estiatorio Milos — Restaurant in Baja California Sur

5 of us had dinner at Estiatorio Milos last Tuesday evening. We were very much looking forward to a fine dining experience at Milos during our stay at Four Seasons Costa Palms. However, it was not a good experience for us. The first thing we noticed was the lack of a fine-dining atmosphere. Aside from the amazing view of the beach and ocean, the restaurant felt more like a high-school cafeteria instead of the finest restaurant at Four Seasons Costa Palmas. The servers were dressed in very casual (unprofessional) attire. The restaurant was not extremely busy that evening, but it still took our server a VERY long time to bring our drinks. Our server seemed very young and inexperienced. We had to keep reminding her of things we had requested -- including refills of our drinks. The entree of "filet mignon cooked medium with no red but pink throughout" (as ordered by 1 person in our party) arrived seared rare (charred on the outside and blood-red on the inside). He sent it back to be corrected, but the "corrected" steak arrived extremely overdone throughout (brownish-gray in color and very tough). He could not eat the steak, and the restaurant removed that steak from the bill. Another in our party ordered the Lobster Pasta. Unfortunately, the lobster was severely overcooked and was very tough and chewy with little flavor. The tomato sauce in the Lobster Pasta may have been made from scratch, but it tasted like it came from a can -- not fresh tasting at all. We returned the Lobster Pasta and the server removed it from our bill. Meanwhile, one of the people in our party was still waiting for his dinner. After waiting approximately 9 minutes after all others were served, we inquired about it with the server. When we asked, she suddenly realized that she forgot to enter that particular order. So, that individual finally received a meal well after the others were finished (or had eaten their side dishes since some entrees were sent back). All-in-all it was an extremely negative dining experience at an amazing resort. The Four Seasons should deliver much better for their guests. Fortunately, the manager provided complimentary desserts for all in the party, but that was minimal consolation for a poor...

Amazing experience here, both breakfast and dinner. Breakfast menu had many options and came with a great view of the ocean during sunrise. The morning staff was very accommodating and personable.

Dinner service was terrific. They showcase their fresh seafood and walked us through each item they offered. The Chocolata Clams were excellent and the grilled fish, although it may not seem like it in the photo, was the best fish I’ve had in my life. The Baklava was a great way to finish off this Mediterranean meal and we can’t wait to return for some more fresh seafood and...

We had dinner here last night and just arrived at the resort.

For the insanely expensive price of dinner our food was bland and boring.

I had the seafood pasta, pasta was undercooked and hard, taste was very bland, not sure if the sauce was even in it? The seafood was also pretty tasteless and chewy. Incredibly disappointing for FS and what you pay for.

Husband got the tuna which again was just boring. Almost chalk like. Super super weird.

Service is very slow.
