Very overpriced for mediocre food. We ordered a fish dish and asked the waiter what type of fish it was to which he responded he doesn’t know. We later realized it was Marlin, which is a very cheap fish in Mexico. For the prize not worth it. Some items where either too bland or too salty. Also ordered some dessert in hopes that since it’s a French restaurant their pastries were better than the food. Unfortunately, the orange cake was very dry and flavorless. We asked for the check and after waiting for a while we realized that they had not given us our change back. When we asked for the change both the waiter and the owner gave us a sleazy attitude and said “oh they want their change back?” As if we were gonna leave all our change as a tip (would of been a 30% tip which is ridiculous). For the mediocre food and sleazy service I would never consider leaving all my change as a tip. Will gladly not be back here. To top it all off, it was the owners birthday and she was very drunk and kept walking over to people’s tables being weird. I’m not sure if her being drunk impacted the quality of the food? Try the place next door, great service, good food, and...

We were sitting around, but enjoying the music. They had recently switched from a menu to a single fixed Dinner option. The meat was very tender, but overall bland. I do not know enough about French cooking to know if this is good French food. The salad was decent, but the bowls were filled so full, that it made it difficult to eat without spilling on the table. A first world problem, I acknowledge. We did not have a reservation, but they still seated us. They were out of all, but one of the dessert options as well. It was very conveniently located for where we were staying, but a bit on the pricey...

The lady who owns this bistro is a true gem. She makes delicious breads and pastries, while the chef prepares delicious food.

The husband had the fruit cocktail and enjoyed drinking the juice after he ate the perfectly ripe fruit. He also had a croque monsieur and said it was better than he has ever had.
If you’re not staying in Nopolo, it’s worth a call to the bistro to make sure they’re open. They were closed during their posted “open” hours on multiple occasions during our 10...
