Pescadero62 — Restaurant in Baja California Sur

Pescadero62 treated us to a fantastic night of great food and drinks while managing a large gathering with grace and genuine enthusiasm. They take hospitality to another level!

We were served a seafood feast of local prawns and fish (you might know it as Dolphin Fish or Mahi Mahi) perfectly cooked and accompanied by the most delicious sauces with unique flavors that will leave a delicious memory on your palate. El pescadero is a primarily fishing and agricultural town, meaning all the vegetables and greens in the salads and side dishes were simple yet full of flavor. Beets, arugula, spinach, you name it! Try them all!

Did I mention the drinks? Every one of them, and we had many, were perfectly crafted and delicious! They have a margarita version with Mezcal called “Mezcalita” that will instantly become your favorite cocktail. You can also get it spicy if you’re feeling so inclined.

Last but not least, the hospitality. The town of El Pescadero is not a resort town, and it still retains its charm and warmth. The people of Pescadero62 received us with smiles that reached their eyes and not only handled our massive group with grace but helped creating an easygoing atmosphere that allowed us to enjoy a wonderful night of friendship, laughter and even some games! They have a very simple layout with a fire pit and a sound system for mood music. I can see them hosting events with live music and have ample space for parking.

I rarely take time to make reviews but online, but this is a gem in the raw and I love when success reaches good people. I also believe their flavors are unique and you will be pleasantly surprised! Thanks again to all the staff for a wonderful...

Highly recommend Pescadero 62! Best cheeseburger in Baja, perfectly cooked and great proportions. The barbacoa tacos were excellent. The meat was so tender and flavorful, and salsa added a perfect balance of spice and acid. We also had the beet salad, which was also delicious. The margaritas were a bit sweet for me but I can just order a shipping shot and be happy.

The service was attentive and friendly. Food came without delays and was the right temperatures. There is plenty of space for larger groups and kids. There’s also a fire pit and nice lighting at night.

Glad to have another great restaurant in town! We will definitely go back to try more...

Tried out Pescadero and did not regret it one bit. There’s food for every palate in case there are picky eaters in your group and all of it is great. I was fortunate enough to try both the Pulled Pork sandwich and the Grilled Fish (Zarandeado); both made to perfection. The service is great, you will see the owners going around table to table making sure everything is good with your food.
