Recommended transportation is by boat or UTV. This quaint and quiet place in Bahia De Los Sueños is a crowd favorite. We always bring our groups of friends here for the tasty classic Mexican cuisine and a huge Pina colada or frozen margarita. It’s special to watch the fishermen coming in from the bay as the local fishermen (and birds) circle around. It’s a historical site too! You can walk down by the bay and see where the gold and silver was stored ages ago before being shipped elsewhere. Menu favorites are the nachos, chili relleno, and tortilla soup.

I'm not sure how this place normally is, but it was very laid back and quiet when we went. Service was fast and friendly. Chicken tacos weren't my favorite, but the shrimp tacos were good. The view of the cove was gorgeous. Bathrooms were not the nicest/cleanest (putting it politely). I feel like we caught them on an off day considering how few people were there... whereas in other reviews it seems busy. Overall decent place, considering limited local options. Beware the cows if you're driving out!

For cruisers, this is a lovely place to chill after or before crossing the Sea of Cortez. I spent some days on anchor in the bay and loved to come into Restaurant 1535 for a daily dose of food and Margaritas. You can't beat the views, and the service is friendly. The food is good even if a little plain. I was missing the usual offerings of Sashimi and Ceviche. But hey - good guac and tacos make my day too. I'll be back on my next crossing in a few months.

Worst experience at any restaurant in the world. Walked in in a great mood after a morning at the beach at around 12:30, ordered drinks and food within 15 mins and we just sat there while they brought every other table with parties that arrived long after us food. After asking politely atleast 5 times, we finally got up and left at 2:15 PM without ever being served our food. Not a single word of an apology from any of the staff members or even an acknowledgement. Gave us the bill and and sent us on our way. Don’t bother going here if you actually...
