Santuario Los Barriles Firewood Kitchen — Restaurant in Baja California Sur

We discovered this restaurant searching Google maps and so glad we did. We ate here twice on our two week visit with different guests, who were absolutely amazed with the entire experience. What a cool venue!! Very quaint, clean and being out in the desert by itself only added to the appeal and vibe. Loved the dinner music as well. Staff was very attentive, friendly and appreciative. I went to santuario with slightly higher expectations than the tacos shacks on the beach. This place was worse than disappointing, it was actively bad.

They sat us at a table with no light, they didn’t stagger the food order and asked us to move tables before bringing everything at once. The pizza was soggy, the steak was over seasoned and the wine tasted sour.
