It is a nice air-conditioned Taco 🌮 shop. Great food with good taste. The condiments tray has 16 different : 6 sauces, fresh veggies, lemon wedges, 🍋 🥒 cucumber slices, chopped cabbage/ cilantro / 🌰 onion, sliced spiced 🥕 carrots, grilled green onions, grilled jalapeños, regular spiced jalapeños, grilled regular onion 1/4's, etc.

Real Mexican Coke, 1/2 liter, bottles for $1.25 each. Quesadillas with and without carne asada. Tacos de Cabeza, de birria, de Tripa, and Pollo ( poultry). Served with either flour ( white wheat) or corn ( yellow) tortillas. Same price.

Nice waiters and waitresses. Polite.

Clean restrooms.

The parking lot has 24 attendants.

SIMPLY THE BEST TAQUERIA IN MEXICALI, AND BETTER THAN ANY TAQUERIA IN THE USA!

TACOS COME STUFFED WITH MEAT. YOU GET YOUR CHOICE OF CORN OR FLOUR TORTLLIAS (PERSONALLY I PREFER THE FLOUR - YOU ACTUALLY GET MORE MEAT FILLING BECAUSE THEY ARE LARGER!). GOT TO TRY THE TACOS DE CABEZA AND KILLER TACOS DE CARNE ASADA; YOU CAN'T MISS WITH ANY OF THE CHOICES OF MEAT THAT THEY OFFER. THEY GIVE YOU A MORE THAN A DOZEN TYPES OF FRESHLY MADE HOT SAUCES, GUACAMOLE, AND VEGGIES TOO.

DEC 28 2022 Just came back from another across the border visit, and a stop at this taqueria before leaving for home. Only difference from our visit 4 months ago was a rise in cost; charge is 36 pesos (= $2 USD), was $1.50 before.

Quality of food and service still...

The staff was very welcoming going in and going out. I love that they had a hand-washing station before you enter the establishment. The food was very good. I have to say that the tacos are better in Mexicali then the tacos in TJ... yeah I said it. The beans were well cooked and very creamy for pinto beans. I do recommend the chicken tacos & asada tacos. The corn and flour tortillas are freshly made to order. I would definitely come back here again.on your table they put a bunch of salsas that you can add to your tacos. It was so good that I asked for some to go. They even packaged every salsa that was on the table in my to go bag. 12 people ate here for forty bucks...
