I recently visited from California and was impressed by the delicious pan dulce — truly some of the best I’ve had. However, during my visit yesterday, I purchased six pastries and two chai coffees, which came to around $40. Unfortunately, one of the chai coffees contained spoiled milk, which made it undrinkable. I wasn’t able to return to the store to inform staff at the time, but it does raise concerns about how long the prepared coffees sit before being served. Given the premium prices, I would expect more attention to quality and food safety, as such issues could make customers sick. Meh. The coffee wasn’t that great. The servers have to walk right through where people are entering or waiting in line to order. It’s quite a bottle neck. The high stools have no foot rests. It’s uncomfortable to have your feet dangling. The stools themselves are too narrow. I don’t like hurting businesses like this, but I feel I should warn people. Hopefully, this will help them...
