Comida China Express Los Compas — Restaurant in Baja California

My first time going. I’ve had many Chinese dishes in Mexicali over my life and know a lot of good, mid, and low places. This place is mid. Portions are good, but food isn’t really all that.

Some of the entrees are not hot and the service is marginal. The lady attending the place is possibly overworked (managing phone orders, cooks, and indoor customers). I went and she took a few minutes to get my food to me when no one was in line.

Parking is accessible and the area is calm with other local businesses around it. I paid $120 for 3 portions. The S&S chicken was fluffy, but seemed to be from a tougher cut of chicken. It needed to be velveted or tenderized a bit more.

Overall, not the best I’ve had, but certainly not the worst. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here, but the place is okay if you’re in the area. Service has room for improvement.

Es como cualquier restaurante de comida china, por el momento sólo se puede pedir comida para llevar, ya sea llamando por teléfono o yendo al restaurante. La comida es muy rica y lo mejor es la charola familiar, cuesta 220 pesos pero te sirven un montón de comida, es casi absurda la cantidad que te sirven, podrían comer sin problemas...
