La Salina Cantina — Restaurant in Baja California

One of my favorite musicians performs there every Sunday at 2:00 to 5:00.

It wasn't very busy but you can also go outside and be right there at the ocean.

It was a little chilly but there was a fireplace going. I just went there because I'd heard that musician that plays there on Sunday before and have become a fan.

Today's special was clam chowder. I had a couple cheese and a great big mug of hot cocoa.

I like the crowd that was there. Most of the people were outside.

I was glad they had some hello chairs because I sit on those high chairs.

I'm thinking about going there more...

Great Mexican and American food at reasonable prices. Well stocked bar and a friendly atmosphere that feels more like family than "just another cantina". Good mix of people from all walks of life. A great place just to sit and enjoy the stories, (real and otherwise), that flow freely. They have Wifi and there is always something worth watching on the flat screen at the bar. The jukebox has a good selection and is updated often. For a small price, you can get a clean, updated room with a million dollar view. Beautiful ocean sunsets on the patio are...

Great fun at Cantina BadAss tonight. Group of us stopped in for early dinner. Servers were attentive, food was more than ample and live music would bring dancers in. Only drawback was couple with two unruly dogs that barked aggressively every time the server went to or by their table. Very obnoxious. Servers smiled and tolerated nicely.
