If you’re anywhere near Tijuana and love seafood, this place has to be on your radar. From the moment you arrive, you know you’re in for something special—this isn’t just another mariscos spot, it’s an experience.

Let’s talk about the shrimp taco. Hands down, the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly cooked, juicy shrimp wrapped in a warm tortilla with just the right amount of crunch and spice. It’s simple, but unforgettable.

But the true star of the show? The crunchy octopus. Ask for it by name. This dish is a game-changer: tender inside, with a beautifully crisp sear that adds texture and flavor you won’t forget. It’s bold, it’s delicious, and it’s uniquely Tijuana.

Everything here screams freshness, tradition, and creativity. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, don’t miss this culinary treasure. This is where mariscos dreams come true.

Alfonso is the best waiter ever, he’ll guide you through the menu and explain to you all you...

I had been wanting to come to this place for some time cuz I had seen on YouTube . Well….. in my experience, waiter was nice, but the food was another experience. Maybe I came at a bad day . My daughter , 2 year old grandbaby, and myself ordered 3 pulpo enchilado crunchy, 2 shrimp enchilado, and a tostada. We ended up eating only 1/2 taco each. I asked the waiter what cheese they use for these tacos and he replied Monterey . I said this is not Monterrey (it tasted sour, like cheese had expired) he then went to ask and cooks said they get the cheese from the states. I took the remaining food home so my other kids can taste ( they have more experience in seafood restaurants than i , maybe , I thought , I was wrong) they took one taste and said the cheese was outdated. Not a good experience for me. I paid $50, not including tip! We will just stick...

We went to El Mazateño today for the first time. It was recommended to me by my brother-in-law. Tasty seafood, we ordered coctel de camarón, ceviche de camarón, and fish tacos. The shrimp cocktail was different from what I had tried before. It had some sauces in the broth that I liked. All it really needed was a little bit of hot sauce for a kick. The shrimp ceviche was also good, but it seemed to have a little flavor of ketchup, which I really don't care for in my ceviche. It might be tasty to others, but ketchup for me is a no in ceviche. The fish tacos are good; I would have liked a little more salt in the fish. I asked for my fish a little more crispy. Taste, price, and customer service is good, only waited about 15 minutes to be seated on a friday afternoon. Will be returning to try their...

The tacos are FIRE! Come here for brunch on a Saturday and your outlook on life will change! The food: We tried the Pulpo, Marlin, and Shrimp tacos (devoured the Pulpo and didn't take a pic) ...all were delicious and just what you would expect! Parking: You can park across the street next to the Chevron. Look for two orange cones and a parking attendant. Tip 2-3 bucks and you are good all day. Don't park in front of the restaurant, they open at 11am and tow cars. Drinks - The Jamaica is fresh. They have a beverage station in the dining room making fresh drinks to order. Surprise experience! There is a street market surrounding the restaurant for blocks on end. After eating your way through a few tacos, walk it off and check out an authentic street market. It's super safe!
