If you’re anywhere near Tijuana and love seafood, this place has to be on your radar. From the moment you arrive, you know you’re in for something special—this isn’t just another mariscos spot, it’s an experience.
Let’s talk about the shrimp taco. Hands down, the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly cooked, juicy shrimp wrapped in a warm tortilla with just the right amount of crunch and spice. It’s simple, but unforgettable.
But the true star of the show? The crunchy octopus. Ask for it by name. This dish is a game-changer: tender inside, with a beautifully crisp sear that adds texture and flavor you won’t forget. It’s bold, it’s delicious, and it’s uniquely Tijuana.
Everything here screams freshness, tradition, and creativity. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, don’t miss this culinary treasure. This is where mariscos dreams come true.

Read moreI had been wanting to come to this place for some time cuz I had seen on YouTube . Well….. in my experience, waiter was nice, but the food was another experience. Maybe I came at a bad day . My daughter , 2 year old grandbaby, and myself ordered 3 pulpo enchilado crunchy, 2 shrimp enchilado, and a tostada. We ended up eating only 1/2 taco each. I asked the waiter what cheese they use for these tacos and he replied Monterey . I said this is not Monterrey (it tasted sour, like cheese had expired) he then went to ask and cooks said they get the cheese from the states. I took the remaining food home so my other kids can taste ( they have more experience in seafood restaurants than i , maybe , I thought , I was wrong) they took one taste and said the cheese was outdated. Not a good experience for me. I paid $50, not including tip! We will just stick...
Read moreWe went to El Mazateño today for the first time. It was recommended to me by my brother-in-law. Tasty seafood, we ordered coctel de camarón, ceviche de camarón, and fish tacos. The shrimp cocktail was different from what I had tried before. It had some sauces in the broth that I liked. All it really needed was a little bit of hot sauce for a kick. The shrimp ceviche was also good, but it seemed to have a little flavor of ketchup, which I really don't care for in my ceviche. It might be tasty to others, but ketchup for me is a no in ceviche. The fish tacos are good; I would have liked a little more salt in the fish. I asked for my fish a little more crispy. Taste, price, and customer service is good, only waited about 15 minutes to be seated on a friday afternoon. Will be returning to try their...
