Restaurante “Museo Valle de Mexicali” (Suc. Virreyes) — Restaurant in Baja California

This place was as magical as I expected it to be.

I had heard a lot of great reviews from friends and family, and today I was finally able to experience it. It was way beyond my expectations.

Everything was very fresh, tortillas, butter, salsas, bread and specially their menudo. The flavors are magnificent! We had menudo, both versions (red and white), fresh tortillas and bread, an order or refried beans with fresh cheese and horchata. DELICIOUS!

They have a limited selection but they succeed at every step and dish they offer.

It is refrigerated with several sections to seat more people, but you will probably still have to wait depending on what time to make it there. Definitely worth any wait and the long drive.

It's great food is all good of course you're in Mexicali. I had Menudo rojo that soup is more authentic than any other BS restaurant you'd find in the U.S. . The museum area is pretty cool has a lot of antiquities ranging from the 1800s - 1940's 50s 60s and probably farther back. The museum looks like an old western type like Clint Eastwood, and you can walk in most of the buildings but not some of the displays. But trust its a good tourist attraction that I didn't know existed till today. Anyways awesome place to gander at if your interested in historical artifacts or...

Me encantaba ir los domingos y llevar a mi familia que viene desde EUA, disfrutábamos el tambiente y la comida, hemos tenido la experiencia que NO sabemos que está pasando con la calidad de los alimentos, ya no es la misma calidad, soy exigente y debo decir que "EL MENUDO ESRA REVUELTO CON MENUDO DEL DIA ANTETIOR, LA PANCITA UNA CON BUEN COCIMIENTO Y OTRA CON LA PANCITA SOBRECOCIDA..,OJO SEÑORES" No confundamos el ir emocionados a desayunar con la familia un rico menudo, el ambiente, la convivencia, SEÑORES LA CALIDAD DEL MENUDO ALGO ESRA PASANDO,compramos para llevar e igual mucha carne y no grano y poco caldo, van varias veces que desafortunadamente nos a tocado este gran detalle. Pensando que mejorarán volvemos a ir y consumir y desgraciadamente nos a tocado la misma situación. Recuerden que llegar a hacer un lugar exitoso puede ser FÁCIL PERO MANTENERSE ES DIFÍCIL. Más que una crítica desafortunada es una crítica constructiva para que revisen que está pasando. Nos encanta ir a desayunar pero deseamos que regrese la calidad en este producto que es el menudo y CHEQUEN LA SAL (se pasa de sal), OTRO DETALLE ES EL CAFE DE CAFETERA☕, EL CAFÉ SE SIRVE CALIENTE, NO TIBIO☕, LA CAFETERA NO MANTIENE LO CALIENTE, y el personal solo nos dicen," es que así sale de la cafetera y no podemos calentarlo😕 🧐Aclaro esto es para que revisen estos detalles y la calidad regrese, nos encanta asistir con la familia y disfrutar de los alimentos, hambiente, servicio, el caminar después de los alimentos.
